My son, Edward, walked on the freshman rowing team at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and I have been inspired by the sport ever since.  My favorite painting subjects have always been water and boats so this has been a particularly fascinating time for me as a parent and personally as an artist.  Thanks, Ed!
